Youth Classes

Dixon/Davis Community Archery Class


Youth (8 - 18) classes for the Davis, Dixon, and nearby area

Archery Solano's Davis/Dixon youth archery group meets for four session each month, Thursdays, at Yolo Bowmen's archery range during the outdoor season (April through October) and at Frontline Archery in Dixon during the winter months. All equipment is provided.

During the school year, the class meets after school, 4 - 5:30  pm, and mornings, 11 am - 12:30 pm, during summer vacation. The meeting times for partial school/summer months (June and August) are split based on the school schedule (see registration details for class times).

The Yolo Bowmen range (map)  is located about 4 miles South on Mace Blvd, at the intersection of Mace (County Road 104) and Tremont Road.

Frontline Archery (map) is located at 645 N. 1st Street in Dixon

 

Fairfield Community Services Archery Class


Youth (8 - 18) classes held at Allen Witt Park

Classes are held Tuesdays, 4 sessions per month, on the grass in Allen Witt Park, May through October, and in the park's recreation center (behind the water park) during the winter months.

Vacaville Community Services Archery Class

Classes are held Wednesdays, 4 sessions per month, at the archery range in Lagoon Valley Park.

Visions In Education Archery Classes


Visions In Education is a fully WASC accredited San Juan Unified School District charter school that provides educational services to two different student populations: Home School and Independent Study. VIE serves kindergarten through-12th grade (K-12) students in Sacramento County and eight surrounding counties (Amador, Contra Costa, El Dorado, Placer, San Joaquin, Solano, Sutter, and Yolo).

As a full qualified Visions In Education (VIE) vendor, Archery Solano provides physical education activity for both VIE student populations. The activity is designed to satisfy the Physical Education Model Content Standards for California Public Schools, Kindergarten through Grade Twelve, Individual and Dual Activities, High School Courses, 3C (see appendix 1). For grade levels below high school, the same content standards will be satisfied, but at an age appropriate level.
