A youth competition team sponsored by the Bow Rack in downtown Martinez.

Team Bow Rack is a non-profit Junior Olympic Archery Development team, that was formed to continue kids skills in archery. The team travels throughout the state of California and beyond to compete in tournaments.

The team is recruited from the Bow Rack Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD). Practices and training sessions are held at the Bow Rack and a outdoor ranges throughout the area.

Youth competition team sponsored by Archery Solano.

Formed in late 2006, Team Saighead is a group of youth archer's from the Fairfield/Vacaville area who train together and attend competitions in team attire. The team was formed in an effort to bring a group identity and sense of belonging to youngsters in this highly individual sport. As members of the team, the archer's reap the benefits of a competition coaching and training curriculum at a much lower cost than that availavle in an individual coaching plan.

Team Saighead's attended its first competition in early 2007 and has attended most in-state FITA competitions since. In its short history, Team Saighead has been very successful in tournament competition. A team member has medaled in every tournament that the team has entered.

Team Saighead recruits its members from Archery Solano's instruction classes, but team membership is open to all youth archers who demonstrate a desire to work towards a mastery of the sport through diligent regular effort.
